For me it was the first time in nearly a year and a half since I went swimming - I mean proper swimming not just messing about in waves or anything like that, I was taking it seriously I had a one piece on and everything.
Mum on the otherhand hadn't been swimming in over eleven years.
Messing about in pools hasn't been this much fun since I was very little. We even discovered that we could have proper hugs in the water. (Hugging someone who's in a wheelchair properly isn't the easiest task in the world.)
We'll have to do it again sometime!
We may not be the next Liesel or Libby but we'll be in the water again soon.
